What is the difference between a Simmons BeautyRest: Carao, Oakdale, and Vanderbilt mattress? I have already went to the website and looked at the differences and don't know much about the materials that it lists. I am wanting to purchase a Simmons mattress but I can't figure out why some of these beds have a 500 dollar difference.

I have purchased 3 different beds in the past year and half but have not found a bed that I like. I have gone from the softest of pillow tops to a very firm and yet they all seem to still bother my back and pressure points, and even the soft pillowtops make my lower back feel as if it's gonna break. The last one I purchased is a very firm bed and I chose to purchase a Serta 4-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper Contour. But I still have the pressure points going on and I feel as if I have to fight to get out of the bed because of the 4" memory foam topper. I'm open for suggestions if anyone would like to offer any. can you "flip" a pillowtop mattress when there are indentations where we sleep? We have an expensive king size pillowtop mattress. Simmons Beauty Rest. It is only 7 yrs. old and has indentations where we sleep. It is very uncomfortable since these "holes" make it impossible to turn over in your sleep and there is a high spot in the center of the bed. We are trying to figure out what to do. We have 2 other mattresses in our guest rooms that are very old and do not have pillowtopsthey are still quite comfortable to sleep on. I think that the pillowtop "feature" is the problem,but it is very difficult to find a non-pillowtop mattress. We do not want a memory foam one either. Which companies make a regular mattress.

Is it okay to store my really nice expensive Simmons mattress on it's side? It's a queen sized mattress with latex and individual springs. I've had to move out of my apartment since I lost my job. We will get another apartment at the end of summer and take it out of storage then. But right now it's been up on its side for about 3 months. Will it be okay for a few more? Should we turn it over onto it's other side to make it fall evenly? Will we destroy this mattress by doing this to it? And if the answer is that we must store it flat right away, where the hell are we supposed to store it? The space we have is just barely big enough for all our stuff and it's costing us over $100 per month! And we don't want to store it in anyone's home to keep it free from allergens, pets, and mold and we don't want anyone else to use it... Any suggestions welcome. And if you think it's bad to store it on its side, is that because you think it would be bad, or because you actually stored a mattress on its side and it definatly messed it up? Thanks. They are both the same price and both have 242 coils. The Simmons has two sides (one for infant and one for toddler). The Serta has Fire Blocker! But I believe all the mattresses have a fire resistant feature. I feel the simmons is a little bit firmer, but I'm worried it's too firm. I'm just so confused, and all the reviews I've read weren't very helpful. We have to order them online so, please if anyone has experience with either, please let me konw if you liked them and the quality. #1. Royal 8 inch foam futon mattress by Adonis with free non slip futon mattress pad - $165.50 #2 Deep sleep monarch 8 inch futon mattress by Simmons (with out a non slip pad) - $170 Shipping and handling is free for either mattress. Which one is a more quality one? The Adonis one says it is a firm mattress. I dont know how comfy it would be then. We use the futon for a living room couch only. The mattress we have now on our futon slips really bad, we are always having to push it up. The simmons will not slip on its own?

Bought a Simmons Beautyrest Mattress World Class Super Pillowtop...? And it super sucks. Bought it in July 2005. And in January/Feb 2006 I started to experience bad aches and pains. Over a course of several months, I went to the DR for all these mysterious pains...even had a mammogram. Nothing could be found, deducted it was stress related--because how could my new mattress cause this?? Anyway, thru massages, relaxation and a new mattress pad...I felt better. So, my mattress definitely has grooves, and dips where we sleep. We aren't heavy people. Anyway, the mattress sucks, reviews are bad. Besides rotating, does anyone have this mattress--and what have you done? I am thinking about getting one of those memory foam pads--but not sure if that will just be the same problem on top of a problem. Thanks.

OMG, PLEASE HELP! How do I get pee out of a BRAND NEW mattress? AND IT'S NOT JUST A LITTLE BIT, EITHER!!!!! My son peed through our mattress pad and well into our BRAND NEW Simmons Beauty Rest mattress. It is a VERY LARGE and saturated area. The very first thing I did was remove the bedding, and I thoroughly COVERED the area with Borax and rubbed it it. Once some of the urine began to get absorbed I added more borax for more absorbtion power. I only heard that this would work, and I know that Borax is great for removing odors and what not. I don't want to spray anything on the mattress because it will break it down. It will only cause more damage to the inner materials. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT ELSE I CAN DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! signed, Potty trouble Just for the record ... MY SON DOES SLEEP IN HIS OWN BED!! He was sick and fell asleep on my bed. I think the time has come for me to purchase a new mattress. I laid on 56 mattresses today (yes, I counted) and I narrowed my search to two. One: Simmons World Class Plush Euro Pillowtop Two: Stearns and Foster Plush Euro Pillowtop The Stearns and Foster feels a little firmer and slightly less comfortable than the Simmons World Class. Right now I have a Sealy Posturepedic Plush (no pillowtop) which is about 5 years old. The Simmons is a little thicker, as well. However, Sealy makes Stearns and Foster and I'm happy with all the Sealys I have owned. I have never owned a Simmons and I don't know much about them. So if you have either, or even if it's just the same make, let me know what you think about your mattress. which mattress fits graco victoria crib? I bought the Graco Victoria Crib in White. And unfortunately, I wanted the Simmons Beautyrest Mattress to go with it. Mattress recommendations? I purchased a Simmons Backcare mattress about 18 months ago for about $800. The main reason I bought this is because I am prone to lower back pain and the salesperson said the Backcare would be perfect for me. (Note to self: don't always believe what salespeople tell me). Anyway, after 8 months, and lots more pain than I originally had, there was a huge sag in the plush top in the middle but still within manufacturer specs (so no replacement). My girlfriend won't even sleep over because of this piece of crap. Can anyone recommend a mattress that they have had for a few years that has not experienced this "sag" and morning back pains?

Simmons beautyrest Pillow top mattress.. Break in -period? My Kimble plush pillow top mattress, that I paid over $1400 was just delivered. It feels noting like the mattress I tried at the show room store. It seems much firmer and the pillow top doesn't seem soft. The show room model was perfect and the mattress was firm but conformed to my body and was very comfortable. I triple check with the store to make sure they sent me the correct model and they confirmed it is. Is there really a break in period for a pillow top mattress? I seems to me that the pillow top would come some what soft and wouldn't require months to break in.. The new mattress seem worst then the 20+ years mattress with bed topper they took away. What is the best quality mattress available? My wife and I recently spent $2400 on a new mattress set. It's supposed to be a top of the line bed; a Simmons Beautyrest Black. It felt great at first, but after not much more than a week it started losing support. I've given it some time to make sure it wasn't just a "breaking-in" period creating an illusion of lack of support. It's been nearly 3 months now, and the bed is garbage. It's softer and sagging more than the 4 year old, cheap mattress we had before. The difference is obvious. If I lay in the middle of the bed, which is practically unused, it's still comfortable and supporting. When I start moving closer to the side where i normally sleep, the difference is VERY obvious. I am less that 180lbs and should not wear out a $2400 mattress in a matter of a few weeks. I know there have to be better beds out there with good support that will last. Any ideas would be helpfull.

How Long can I expect a good Air Mattress to last? I don't want to spent the $$ for an actual mattress, and I don't want to have to transport the mattress. Are mattress companies a hoax? Recently, I went to sleepys's (a mattress store). I liked a Simmons mattress. It was part of the Shakespear line. They told me they would give me an additional 20% off the product if I found it cheaper somewhere else. I can't find the "Shakespear Line" anywhere not even online and have jumped to the conclusion that it only exhists at Sleepy's.
