Underlays

help please, advice needed on carpet underlay?

i'm laying wool blend in bedrooms which is best underlay to use, does it make a difference what you use, please give detailed answers as i'm going around in circles getting different advice thanks

1. With out knowing what exactly your getting its hard to suggest to you what to do.. All I can suggest is to ask whoever sold you the carpet is to get what the minimum . and maximum of padding should be for your carpet.. Manufacturers will have a minimum for you to follow to warranty their carpet.. I ve always suggested to my costumers to go a bit above what is recommended as long as the feel underfoot is good for them..You can t go cheap on padding or you ll hurt yourself in the long run..
