how much would it cost to have a two bedroom house's carpets professionally cleaned and fumigated?
i'm leaving a rented house and because we had cats, we had to agree to have the carpets done.

- get some quotes ....duh!
- i think between 30 - 80 per room , it all depends on the size i think .. try typing carpet cleaner in the search bar at the top of this page .. it might help abit more than we can
- Are you still in the property ? if so hire the rug doctor and do it yourself - it will be a fraction of the cost and the rooms will be clean and sanatised
- Not much change from £500 for the whole house properly done. Get a quote from 08453761887 to give you a ball park figure.
- hi carpet cleaner here... DONT HIRE A RUG DOCTOR.. if you're dealing with really bad odor issues, which is what it sounds like. The best thing you can do is call around and get quotes... just don't let anyone scam you. Ask for references, and ask about odor guarantees... YES there are carpet cleaning companies that offer guarantees..we do.. but they are few and far between. When you do find one, dont let them charge you for resealing the carpet.. chances are you dont need it (most people dont) and stick to your guns and intuition. if it doesnt feel right, dont do it. Dont steam clean, look for a dry-foam carpet cleaner in your area... you'll see much better results and your carpet will last longer. and again, if you're dealing with bad odor issues... DONT RENT A RUG DOCTOR.. you WILL make the problem WORSE.
- we pay £75 for a large ish room....and i think for our smaller lounge (that room is about 4 x 3.5metres) they quoted £50
- I own a cleaning company in the South West, and we charge between £60 - £80 for a 2 bed house. Depending on where you live the costs will alter, but if you are charged more than £100 you are being ripped off. If you need any more help feel free to email me lmsclean@hotmail.com
- Several hundred pounds. We did the same thing leaving a rented property, but instead we hired a carpet cleaner for £30 a day and did it ourselves.
- Go to ChemDry in Yellow Pages. They are superb.
