How do I kill parvo without destoying my carpets?

Our rescue rents a home for our animals and selves. We have a parvo positive dog that was running around the carpets for a few days. I know bleach is best but the land lord would have my head so is there something else that will work but is safe for carpets?

  1. Too ba dyou can't just rip the carpets out and put down linoleum. Then you would be able to actually *clean* the floor. Carpet is evil.
  2. NO
  3. You can get "parvocide" cleaning agents from many veterinary and dog supply retailers on-line (like http://www.cageandkennelcleaners.com/), but most cleaners are made for hard surfaces (like concrete and tile) so you would have to test it out on a small area of the carpet before using it all over the place.
  4. Get a life look it up on the internet, think about it
  5. I have used bleach and it still was alive in my home, so bleach is starting to not work. I even bleached my couches, carpets, and everything! I to have been to the vet and ask about something too kill it, but my vet in KY said that this stuff was not working ether. I also help shelter animals and so I know it is hard to keep them out of harm, but to bring them into it is worse. If I was you I would see about relocated! GOOD Luck
