Ideas for light oak bedset, white carpets and white walls?

I've been trying to find some pictures for inspiration, but haven't had any luck. We have light oak bedroom furniture with white carpets and walls. Most of the pictures I've seen have hard wood flooring, which we can't afford!

2. Why don't you paint the room--paint is the cheapest way to redecorate and it is on sale now. You might consider painting the wall your bed is in front of in an accent color. Or you could find a textured or patterned wall paper and do 1 wall in that--paint the other 3 walls the color of the background. Just wallpapering 1 wall is not hard and won't be too expensive. You have a blank slate!
3. Navy and white bedding with a tan stripe. Think nautical.
